A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I follow the Aqidah of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama‘ah and dedicate myself to the pursuit of knowledge. I’m currently completing a four-year Shariah course and plan to continue on to Alimiyyah studies insha Allah. I view marriage as an act of ibadah, a unity of families and an amanah of Allah ﷻ. I believe that with clear intentions and aligned purposes a marriage can become a source of sakinah and hasanah for us.

Alhamdulillah, I aim to structure my life around discipline and consistency in ibadah. As consistency is what will benefit one in the akirah. Seeking 'ilm is a fairly new chapter in my life; a few years back I came to realise how much I was lacking whilst being raised in the West under a secular mindset pushed from peers and family to consequentially becoming the norm. That is why I chose to follow this path to ultimately be a better servant of Allah, a better leader at home, and a source of guidance and stability for my family, current and future insha Allah.

Those close to me describe me as calm, emotionally grounded, patient, and reflective. I believe that true masculinity lies in maturity, gentleness where appropriate, and decisive where required. I value emotional maturity and believe that forgiveness and sincere communication are essential traits in a successful marriage. I am disciplined by nature, but playful and warm once there is trust.

Having lived in multiple countries since childhood, I understand the problems we face in the West raising children, and I would like to make hijrah with my partner for the sake of Allah if circumstances allow.

I’d prefer not to know too much about my spouse’s life experiences besides the immediate qualities reflected in her ihklaas and akhlaq — and I hope she would feel the same — as I think a little mystery adds excitement and eagerness to a marriage.

That said, here are a few things that might pique your interest outside of my otherwise simple life: I enjoy riding my motorbike within the what I refer to ‘recommended’ speed limits. I’m currently building a gym of sorts in my backyard to get away from the fitnah in our public gyms. I’m a casual NFL and NBA fan. Once I get comfortable I love to have deep meaningful conversations, and mostly laugh and reminisce about life.

I want to be able to enjoy moments at home with my partner who values quality time. I want to be able build a strong relationship that focuses on learning and seeking ilm together.

My parents have had a rocky relationship ever since from when I can remember and I believe it boils down to a lack of deen in their lives. I want to learn from their mistakes and raise a family with my partner who values the akirah over this dunya. One who is actively investing in her and her children’s future who will live on after us. I’m not materialistic, I live a simple disciplined life and I hope I can find the same insha’Allah.

What I Am Looking For
I hope to meet a spouse whose heart is drawn to knowledge and who actively seeks to grow in ilm with passion and sincerity. Someone who values continuous learning, and whose presence brings peace, guidance, and inspiration to those around her. I believe I have so much more to learn and it would be beautiful to be able to learn with a fellow student of knowledge.

Similarly to my studies I am passionate about keeping fit and I pray for a partner who values physically activity as well. If you are known around family and friends to be emotionally mature, gentle, and nurturing then I believe we could be compatible.
